    What's new in 0.3

    • Permissions on startup — checks and requests Location/Notifications when the app launches, with a new Permissions section in Settings showing live status and a Grant button for each.
    • Fixed pings/announces silently dying — root-caused two separate ways the shared-instance connection could go quietly dead (a host-side 12s idle timeout, and a stuck socket send with no OS-level timeout) that previously required a full app restart to recover from. The app now detects and self-heals both automatically.
    • Bots list interlock — bots more than one hop away can no longer be casually selected as the active bot, since their RF data isn't usable for direct wardriving. A deliberate long-press "Force Set Active" override remains available.
