    Test build (debug-signed APK).

    Changes since v0.3:

    • Firmware responder mode with local heatmap and live status
    • Probe engine, configurable probe interval, smart location, Pause/manual send
    • Uplink/Downlink meters, downlink measurements, direction colours
    • Local Data menu: import/export (GeoJSON, CSV, GPX), clear; tappable heatmap
    • Map style picker with rns.moscow presets, offline maps
    • Session start checks, Flight mode stop
    • Fix: Both overlay crash, reconnect interface deregistration

    Also in this build:

    • Ruler: a new map button under the signal overlay button. Turn it on, tap two points, and read the distance (m / km); a third tap starts over. The line follows the light/dark theme.
    • Signal overlay modes use the same arrow icons as the wardrive map page instead of emoji
    • Settings: no Save button any more; every change is stored as you make it, and picking a map tileset takes effect at once
    • Settings: typed fields are checked before they are stored (bot hashes, RPC key, ports, timeouts and intervals, URLs); an invalid value shows the reason and the last valid one stays in use. Smart Location distance is 1-1000 m
    • The Ping button is hidden in Announce and Firmware responder modes, which have no bot to answer it
    • Fix: the Light theme no longer gives white-on-white status bar icons on a phone in dark mode
    • MapLibre updated to 13.6.1 (an attempt to fix a native crash when switching the signal overlay on Android 16)
    • Note: the MapLibre update replaces MapLibre's offline database, so offline maps downloaded with an earlier build may need to be downloaded again

    What's new in 0.3

    • Permissions on startup — checks and requests Location/Notifications when the app launches, with a new Permissions section in Settings showing live status and a Grant button for each.
    • Fixed pings/announces silently dying — root-caused two separate ways the shared-instance connection could go quietly dead (a host-side 12s idle timeout, and a stuck socket send with no OS-level timeout) that previously required a full app restart to recover from. The app now detects and self-heals both automatically.
    • Bots list interlock — bots more than one hop away can no longer be casually selected as the active bot, since their RF data isn't usable for direct wardriving. A deliberate long-press "Force Set Active" override remains available.
